When I look into a mirror,
No longer does my spine suffer a shiver.
I care only to study my eyes,
I one of those less presentation-focused guys,

Image rules the roost in my town,
A subject, which always causes me to frown,
Cos too many people see only skin deep beauty,
The men only act nice to the latest common cutie.

Women should care if their man likes their bust,
But 100X’s more so if his word they can trust.
A trophy to show off, to hang off your arm,
Or a just man whose soul oozes natural charm?

Mirror, mirror on the wall??
Who’s the fittest fucker of them all?
Designer hairstyles, fake smiles,
The latest Levis, longer lasting hair dyes,
The plastically enhanced models and film stars,
Like fake humans in their flashy cars
What the fuck is it all about?
Have people forgotten it’s the mind and heart that carry the most clout?

I gave up the image game along time ago,
I realized it’s more important to help my mind grow.
It’s sad that to look like britney spears is a common dream,
Surround yourself with love, this the best way to build self-esteem.
