The focus appears to be on…
Hernandez, who is unwanted by Van Gaal. They want hard cash, we want a loan with a right to purchase. I like him, a mexican inzaghi. Price wise? Impossible to judge much in the premiership these days, kids move for 28m pounds, strikers from the championship go for 10m pounds or more. Perhaps 15-20m given he is unwanted by his club? I feel he could do well in Italian football, for he is a crafty little tyke! Reminds me of my hound somewhat; gritty, fast as fuck, great at wriggling out of small spaces. 26 years old, contract until 2016. motivation to move is to play first team football…He probably wont see much action with Rooney now deployed where he can be at his best, VP and Mata all available for the front 2 (as it presently stands). With wellbeck on his way out the door, Van Gaal seems to like the other youngster…and they will possibly make several pricey signings before the transfer window closes, although most will be behind the forward line, since that is the only place they seem world class. It is behind them where the problems lie.
Luiz Adriano of Donesk. Probably more substance to this one given the US sponsored terrorism in the area where neo nazi hoardes posing as ‘special police’ have been burning people alive, blowing up civilian airliners and blaming it on russia and bludgeoning scores of others to a grisly demise as they await the appearance of Russian reaction which simply has not appeared, for if it does, the US will have ‘justification’ to go to war with Russia…which is the clear goal in that region, hence the US supported military take-over of Ukraine and subsequent funding and direction of its ‘government’ and ‘forces’…Indeed…Adriano does not fancy becoming involved in the slaughter, and he is a rather good goalscorer, 27 years old, with only one year left on his contract. An escape route to Turin seems both a step up in his career and a nicer place to be. However, Lucescu is hugely against losing his star man in attack.
Also mentioned, as he has been in the past, is Lacina Traore, the black giant owned by Monaco who was loaned to Everton last January. Scored on his debut for the toffees, then was hamstrung until the end of the season. Seems there is no space for him in the principality. His best form appears to have been in Romania and Russia,
2.03 metres tall!. Hardly prolific, but could be useful. Loan may be an option, so that suits Beppe…but the problem with this one, is whether there would be an option to purchase!
Podolski rumoured to be available for 15m pounds…He has class, and true grit. And it has been an age since we had any true nazis in the squad (even though Lukas is a Pole)…:Lichsteiner does a good impression, and he seems german in look and tenacity, yet is not of the mechanical, brutal efficiency of Moller and Kohler, two of my favourite Juve players of all time. The podman also meets the criteria of appearing a human version of one of the eveil rabbits in watership down, a darkness in his countenance, something bestial, like Kohler had and Moller and Dieter Hamann. Solid player and we lack lefties in midfield and up top. Seems late in the day to be selling him though for Wenger, who has plenty more money to spend if he wishes and should be focused on adding steel to the midfield. The funny thing with this rumour is that the player has clearly stated not long ago he was going nowhere, and Wenger has been open in stating that Lukas is part of his plans. Arsene is an odd chap but not a liar. And germans have no need to lie, for they are pretty much excellent at everything….the brilliant bastards! I was stunned to find that even the trams in Berlin ran on time, to the minute, and they could probably add ‘seconds’ to their timetables.
I’d be happy with Hernandez or Adriano, even more so with Depay…yet we do not need to upset the balance of experience and potential in the squad. Podolski seems highly unlikely. Traore more of a risky move on the cheap.
