I wish

I wish I was an emcee,

Able to cause rushes with my vocals,

I wish I could use my love of Words,

To unite Strangers and Locals…

 

I wish I was more peaceful,

Evasive of Confrontation and Drama,

I wish I could accept fully the divine notion,

That the World is balanced out by Karma…

 

I wish I thought Less,

That I was happy to just Exist,

I wish my spirit felt like a vibrant mountain river,

Instead of a tightly clenched, ready to swing, fist…

 

I wish that people were less greedy,

Less selfish and less cruel,

I wish that every Adult who lives with their heart on their sleave,

Weren’t labeled and treated, by the majority, like a useless Fool…

 

I wish our governments weren’t ruled by Scum,

That our Leaders were Wombats in place of Men,

I wish that humans were happy just to survive,

Without needing the capitalist riches which have polluted every waterway from the Amazon to the
Seine…

 

I wish we weren’t slaves,

Pandering to the desires of Evil Priests,

I wish that an Apocalypse was coming sometime soon,

And that those who survive can return to Nature and live as Wild Beasts…
