We have been in haphazard form of late. Due mainly to injuries and a constantly changing side. Other than which, our finest, most dynamic player in Pogba has been sidelined.
However, the sign of a truly great team is to win and succeed when not playing well. And we have that now. No longer does hesitation and fear spread through the ranks when we concede or fail to break down one of most foes who put ten men behind the ball and play swift counter-attacking football. No longer do we rely on Pirlo, for Marchisio makes the team far more dynamic when positioned as the regista. No longer do we rely on just one player capable of making the difference in tight games, for we have Pogba, a resurgent Vidal, the always improving Morata, Marchisio and the phenomenal Tevez to beat any side on our day and make us more often than not too hard to beat when out of sorts.
All this achieved with our first choice left back out for the season, one of our major signings Romulo also hardly featuring due to injuries and plenty of other setbacks for key players. It is astonishing, and huge credit goes to the players and manager.
My words focused upon the difference made to Juve by Allegri ( found here>>>http://thedissolutefox.com/is-contes-3-5-2-right-for-italy/ ) seems valuable to refer to.
With so many of the millions of juventini world wide rather aghast at the appointment of Max, and I was one of them, we must all now doff our hats, virtual or otherwise to the wonderful work he has done. Scudetto winners with four games to spare. Coppa Italia final. Champions League Semi-finals.
These are the achievements of an elite team.
Who can say how we will fare against Real? They are stronger, but on our day we can beat any side in the world. Would be nice to add the coppa italia to the league title, yet whatever happens from here on in, this has been a season of progress and success.
Looking to the future…
